http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14396 ExtraDotOutputStream doesn't properly implement dot stuffing ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-01-26 23:26 ------- Can you point to an RFC that can help explain the correct behavior? SMTP barely defines it and POP3 isn't too clear either. SMTP seems to just say a "." surrounded by line feeds should get stuffed, but POP3 seems to be more rigorous in defining the <CRLF> sequence. Maybe we need two stuffing outputstreams? Any clarification on the bug report would be appreciated. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
