Hi all, I've got a little problem with hotmail recipients (and maybe others but I didn't test it yet) and my james 2.1. Maybe my problem has already been adressed (or fixed) and if so, sorry about the inconvenience.
Basically, the problem doesn't seem related to hotmail recipients, but that's the mail system (besides my own James) where I have a lot of accounts and usually do all of my testing. My problem is that when I send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (my email), everything works fine. The logs report the mail delivered and the mail is delivered. When I send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (doesn't exist), I got an error in the log, the mail is spooled for further retries and after the number of retries of my James, the server notifies me of the failure. Now if I send an email to both accounts (mine and the nonexistent one), I get a 550 error (in the logs), notifying me that one of the two addresses doesn't exist, and the mail is stored for retries.... even though one of the two addresses is correct!!!!! The mail will never get delivered to the valid address. This problem doesn't exist if the two recipients doesn't belong in the same mail server (ie: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
