Hi,

I made up an email address and then sent an email.
mailet.log had the following:

I believe that James had problem removing the email from the database.
It has to be returned to the sender, I think.

BTW, recently I had a user that sent an email to <username>@hotmail.com.
HotMail's DNS entries are set as follows:
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc1.law5.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc2.law5.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc1.law13.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc2.law13.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc3.law13.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc4.law13.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc5.law13.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc6.law13.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc4.law5.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc5.law5.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc6.law5.hotmail.com
hotmail.com preference = 10, mail exchanger = mc7.law5.hotmail.com

I don't know what the intention was so that all exchangers were set to
have the same priority. Problem is, James tries to connect to all the
servers and then send the email. Basically, everything would be fine.
Except that it's a waste of resources (ie: TCP connections), IMO. And I
think it would make sending out email a bit longer.

Oki
