Take a look at the site below, for a tool that allows you to turn any java application into an NT service.
http://www.alexandriasc.com/software/JavaService/index.html I know there are other James users who use the JavaService solution. I have not yet figured out the correct command string to get it working. My current command is: JavaService.exe -install "James 2.0a2" C:\progra~1\jdk1.3.1_02\jre\bin\server\jvm.dll -Djava.ext.dirs=C:\james\lib java.class.path=C:\james\bin\phoenix-loader.jar;C:\james\bin\phoenix-engine.jar -start org.apache.avalon.phoenix.launcher.Main -out out.log -err err.log If you get it working, please pass the info on how along. >From: "Davide Frigerio" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: "James Users List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: "James Users List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: How to configure James as a service? >Date: Fri, 15 Feb 2002 11:29:25 +0100 > >Does anybody test James as a service? > >Any suggest? > >Thanks. > >Davide Frigerio. > >-- >To unsubscribe, e-mail: ><mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >For additional commands, e-mail: ><mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
