Thank you very much Chris, normally I develop under Windows platform so in
this case I forgot to specify that my interest is in Linux.
There's anybody who runs James as a service under Linux?

application into an NT service.

I know there are other James users who use the JavaService solution. I have
not yet figured out the correct command string to get it working.
My current command is:
JavaService.exe -install "James 2.0a2"
C:\progra~1\jdk1.3.1_02\jre\bin\server\jvm.dll -Djava.ext.dirs=C:\james\lib
java.class.path=C:\james\bin\phoenix-loader.jar;C:\james\bin\phoenix-engine.
jar
-start org.apache.avalon.phoenix.launcher.Main -out out.log -err err.log
If you get it working, please pass the info on how along.
