I've tested my installation against ordb.org, and it is clean.

make sure that in your <smtpserver> section you have an
<authRequired>true</authRequired> and that it is not commented out. I've
also noticed that if I use a TRUE instead of a true that it doesn't work.

BTW: ORDB will remove your blacklisting as soon as you fix your server and
ask them to retest.

It appears that spamlart bases its test upon the response during mail
submission.  As noted in the James FAQ, James (and it is not alone in this
regard) performs mail filtering after the message is received.  Spamlarts
tests could form the basis for a Spam filter similar to that present in
NESSpamCheck, but those rules would be processed during the delivery
process, not the SMTPhandler.
