Another alternative is talked about a lot in the mail archives - look through the James User mail archives for "javaservice". You need to get a copy of the "javaservice" program - I just checked and the web site where you download it seems to be down. If you can't get hold of the javaservice program and want it, let me know and I'll check if I still have a copy at work.
