Hi Nebril, You should definately not keep your mail server as an open relay. When you use SMTP-AUTH it will only stop people from sending mail directly through your server. Your friends who use hotmail send mail through hotmail's servers. If you configure James to have <servername/> entries for each of your domains, then James will accept mail for those domains without requiring authentication.
