I said that "the mailet has to be specially written to do it." What I
didn't say was how. You need to take over control within the mailet, and
wrap your database updates within a JDBC transaction: both your operational
post to the database, and the state change. Very dependent upon knowing how
James works and in setting up the configuration -- NOT a portable solution.
