After running James successfully on a personal email server for ~1 year (awesome), I needed to reinstall on a new server. I figured I may as run the latest version. I have tried 2.1.1a4 and 2.1.1a5, then just 2.1, and I cannot figure what is going on?
When I SEND an email from my james account, to my james account (simple loop), no problems are reported. However when I RETRIEVE it, there are no messages waiting for me. in the environment.xml, I set all my loggings to DEBUG. When I send a message, I see that the SMTP successfully put the message in the spooler. Checking the spooler log, I find the message was processed once and sent to "transport", then again and sent to "ghost". Does this give anyone a hint as to what is going wrong? When all is done, I cannot find my email in any of the mail directories (spam, error, inbox, etc...) I see this problem on a fresh install, and after I modify the config.xml for my servername and DNS settings. TIA, Steve B.
