     I've done the whole HACKING command line (time and time again).
     I didn't use --with-x, I guess I'll install lesstif and try that.
Don't understand why it would make a difference.
     Do you have Mozilla or NSPR installed on your machine?  Is it possible
just to install nspr?  If so, I might consider installing that on my box
just to get this to work.
     My problem is a build problem: when I compile with no options, and even
when I tell it explicitly to disable nspr, it still tries to compute
dependencies for nsprgc.c (to eventually include it in the build).  I do not
have nspr.h, so the dependency calculation fails and the build bails.
