LGPL or GPL?

The http://www.japhar.org/ page says: 

 Japhar is released under the LGPL, which should make it much more
attractive for
 companies interested in embedding an open source JVM in their
proprietary/commercial
 products. 

The actual CVS snapshot is under GPL, however. Which license is intended
to apply? If it is LGPL when will it be fixed?
