Hm, it has been a long time since I tested in on Solaris. I believe
you need to use a newer JDK. 1.1.7 if I remember correct.

Try running with more logging. (Did you compile --with-logging ).
Set environment 'JAPHAR_LOG=ALL,15' to get lots of logging. Check the
README for more info on this.
