Hi,

I've just finished an installation of apache jserv on win32 and I noticed a
couple of things that might be useful for people on this list.

System: wintel nt4 sp4, apache 1.3.6 installed OK
Files used: ApacheJServ1.0b2-Apche1.3.4.exe, Apache-JServ-1.0b3.jar.zip,
ApacheModuleJServ1b3_136.dll

The typical install of JServ went fine. I replaced the jar and the dll
with the downloaded versions.
When I fired up apache, windows complains that the dll "is not a valid
Windows NT image".

So I compiled the JServ c code against the apache 1.3.6 source. 2 files
were missing in the JServ distribution in jserv/src/c (jserv_balance.c and
jserv_image.c). I took them out of the tarball (Apache-JServ-1.0b3.tar.gz)
and the dll build went fine. JServ works perfectly with this new dll.
It's also about 4k bigger than the dll that's available on java.apache.org.
Is it possible that the dll on the site is corrupt in some way?

Cheers,

Roel Hofkens.
