Apache should be stopped by opening up another DOS prompt, going to the apache
directory and entering: "apache -k shutdown". (Read the docs.) Whether or
not this means the JVM will die correctly, I'm not sure, but you're definitely
not supposed to kill Apache with a simple "Ctrl-c."
