I just downloaded Apache 1.3.6 and JServ 1.0b4. I did a completely
plain-vanilla fresh install of Apache (this is for pedagogic purposes).
When I went to configure JServ I got this error message:
$ ./configure --with-apache-install=/usr/local/apache
...
creating src/java/Makefile
creating src/c/Makefile
creating src/c/jserv.h
creating src/java/org/apache/jserv/JServDefs.java
mkdir: cannot make directory `src/scripts/package/tar.gz': No such file or
directory
creating src/scripts/package/tar.gz/snap.sh
sed: can't read ./src/scripts/package/tar.gz/snap.sh.in: No such file or
directo
ry
./config.status: src/scripts/package/tar.gz/snap.sh: No such file or directory
Configuration complete.
And, indeed, there is no directory src/scripts/package.
System: RHLinux 5.1.
Ideas?
