we´re currently using stunnel here which listens SSL to :443 and
forwards http to :80.
mostly working, but file-upload fails most of the times (does not when
not using SSL of course) and IE4 seems to have trouble with it (NS and
IE5 work)

search for stunnel at http://www.freshmeat.net

will might soon be watching mod_ssl. any reason why we shouldn´t ?
