I must congratulate the JServ team on the release of JServ 1.1b3. This
release was the first one to install almost 100% out of the box in my
environment. JServ has improved a lot over the last several months. I say
"almost" because there's only one nitpick issue that's not taken care of by
the install. The jserv log file (jserv.log) typically can't be created when
you start the web server since the log directory is owned by root and the
server runs as some other user. I would recommend that the install process
attempt to discover the web server user and simply create a zero length
jserv.log file in the apache logs directory owned by the appropriate user.

Great job guys!
