BEFORE YOU POST, search the faq at <http://java.apache.org/faq/>
WHEN YOU POST, include all relevant version numbers, log files,
and configuration files. Don't make us guess your problem!!!

Jon, at the expense of this mailing list's bandwidth, I'm going to take exception to
your statement
"that the people around here have been really rude (Mark Williamson and others) "
My .02 cents:
I started out with an offer to you that i would code this faq-o-matic in a servlet...I
asked you for a tar ball of the existing data so i could import it inot a database and
start from there.
You said no.
I am pointing this out so that the list membership here can find out what is really
going on with the FAQ and that you are not as helpful as you claim to be:
from our messages before:

I want to see the "new" system that you are building before I send you the
FAQ contents.

Ok, let me explain a few things to you, that you don't seem to have a clue
about:
#1. Sending rude sounding emails will get you nowhere in life.
#2. Being rude will get you nowhere in life.
#3. I'm not paid to do tech support (or anything else) for you.
#4. The Java Apache Project is a 100% volunteer project. So, telling people
to do things for you or calling them "anit-community" or questing their
reasoning is extremely rude.
If you want help, be part of the "community" and post your questions on the
java apache users mailing list. Or, help us find a replacement solution for
the FAQ.
I am the one who created and maintained the FAQ in the first place. I
understand its value more than anybody because it saves me a shit load of
time answering the questions from people like you who are just plain rude
and can't figure it out for themselves.
In other words, be part of the solution, not part of the problems.

I think you already know the answer to that question.
have a good day. cya.

Wow, you have really good observational skills. I'm so impressed. Not.

I'm very happy for you. Maybe now you will go away.

Instead of all this BS Jon could have just sent me that link that Chris did. But he
elected to waste considerable amount of time bouncing back and forth with me on the
subject of the FAQ's html data.
While Jon is crying foul here that no one is willing to help out, we must also note
that he too is not willing.
Does anyone else see my point?
