JServ works fine with JDK1.1.7 from Blackdown (www.blackdown.org). I would
also prefer IBM JDk1.1.8 as it's lightning fast and has small footprint.

Hi,
I was installing apache jserv on linux 6.0. but having some problems. I
have (default with linux 6.0)java 1.1, JSDK 2.0 and apache 1.3.6.
Source files are configured but while installing (by make install) it
hangs while compiling one java file.

  I would appriciate your suggestion.
I also wish to know that I wish to upgrade 1.3.6 apache to apache 1.3.9
for that do i have to remove 1.3.6.
If yes :---- tell me how to uninstall 1.3.6
if no :--- tell how to configure 1.3.9

Same tell me for upgarding java 1.1 to java 2.

Thanking you,
Vikas
