For upgrading Apache, if you're running Gnome (I'm assuming my "linux
6.0" that you mean Redhat?), start gnorpm and do a web find for apache
and it will list available upgrades. Select the 1.3.9-8 rpm and choose
"Upgrade". This should do the trick. You will then probably need to
reinstall the Jserv distribution but better now then when you've
configured everything.
Get the Linux java 1.2.2 (RC) (Java 2) tar from www.sun.com and follow
installation directions that come with the package.
