Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself, and ask for some help (of course).
My name is Joshua Chen, and I'm working for a internet startup
company that is moving their website from asp to java. Right now
they have ChiliSoft running on Solaris with Apache as the
webserver. I wanted to try to steer the head honcho towards JServ,
but he is reluctant to do so, because he has been burned before by
using what he calls "multi-vendor" solutions. *shrug* We have a
Oracle database, hence the consideration of Oracle Application
Server. I'm a little more familiar with JServ than OAS, but I don't
know enough about both to make any convincing arguments for
either side, besides the "I'm more familiar with JServ", which doesn't
carry too much weight (I'm a consultant).

My question to any of you guys is:

Does anyone have any experience with both JServ and OAS (we
would be running 4.0.8), and what are his/her feelings on it?

Hopefully I can take these responses and use them on the head
honcho to convince him to use JServ rather than OAS.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Joshua Chen
