Are you sure you have everything already installed?

  I have a Solaris 2.7 with apache 1.3.11 ,
mod_ssl-2.5.0-1.3.11 and ApacheJServ-1.1 .

Have you read the manual at
http://www.modssl.org/source/exp/mod_ssl/pkg.mod_sll/INSTALL

  It's a great one.

When I installed I follow this manual and after
compiling the apache, I installed (and configured)
jserv. After that I prepared gnujsp (for acepting jsp's).
