This error message may mean that mod_jserv.c is not being loaded
despite
the fact that you attempt to load it in your httpd.conf file. Is there a
way to
determine whether it is being loaded? I have tried this at the command line:
% httpd -l
but it doesn't always indicate which modules have been loaded, at least not if
you compiled Apache with DSO support.
