I'm using JServ on Solaris X86 dual P3 550, it's really fast.
Since 4 month of activities I didn't have any problem.
I think that it's a good solution !
We have apache(Linux) for http and 2 JServ Solaris X86.
IBM JDK 1.3 pre release for Linux is as fast as the last 1.2 jdk on solaris X86
for our servlets on the same hardware.

        Ludo.
