Chris's translation...

1) Sun were going to release JSDK bundled with JDK.

2) They subsequently decide to release the JSDK earlier than the JDK. cos
we were all anxious to get our stickey little hands on the JSDK. and the
JDK had been delayed.
 
3) Sun releases JSDK 

4) Sun releases JDK  and does not bundle the JSDK... cos it was so big! 

=  If you want the JSDK, you have to download it separately.

Clear as mud?
