---------------------------------------------------------------- BEFORE YOU POST, search the faq at <http://java.apache.org/faq/> WHEN YOU POST, include all relevant version numbers, log files, and configuration files. Don't make us guess your problem!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- i am trying to install Apache & Jserv on Sun. Suppose the installation of apache is in directory: /usr/x/y/apache. I want to distribute Apache to endusers along with software and i dont want them to go thru installation process. So I simply tar the apache directory and copy on their machine. However, when i execute "apachectl" from copied location example, /usr/a/b/apache, it says path not found for /usr/x/y/apache/libexec. how can i avoid this absolute path hardcoded in to apache. Thanks in advance. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
