There is no Linux 7.0, latest version is 2.4

I presume you are referring to Red Hat 7.0 - RH7 is based on Linux 2.2,
and shipped with a buggy beta libc.o which causes the Java VM to crash

Go to support.redhat.com and download the patch and all will be well
