Work as a member of the Front End development team, primarily within the
scope of the Omgeo TradeSuite product. Architect, design, develop and
implement the User Interfacing components of the TradeSuite Web application.
Accountabilities: What are the major responsibilities of this position?
List the what, how and why of each responsibility & provide examples as
necessary. Use specific verbs of action, such as "directs", "creates",
"manages", "executes", etc.
: Work with team on complex software development efforts with a primary
focus on user interface design, development and supporting code.
: Work with the technical architect to define and document system
designs and solutions consistent with the prescribed architecture.
: Work with the QA staff during various phases of testing and test case
preparation.
: General system and application support in all environments including
off-hour support work
Key Relationship/Stakeholders: List/describe the roles or functions
(internal or external) that impact the success of this role. Consider the
interdependencies.
Primary relationships will be with other members of the development team
(both Mid-Tier and other disciplines) as well as members of the
Cross-Functional teams, including Product Management, Product Design, QA
and Project Management.
Decision Making:
A. List/describe the types of decisions made in this position on a
regular basis: Tactical implementation and design decisions within the
execution of a product development effort.
B. List/describe types of decisions referred to the next level up:
Architectural decisions,
technology choices and broad scoped design choices would either be made or
validated at a higher level.

: jQuery utility components - 2+ years recent experience
: CSS, HTML/HTML5 - 2+ years recent experience
: Experience with JavaScript frameworks (*Backbone or Angular*) and
Design patterns
: Experience with Kendo UI Grid library
: Experience with *Underscorejs library, Handlebarsjs template*
: Experience with Ajax or jQuery Ajax
: *Performance optimization of JavaScript*
: Analytical, and object oriented design skills
: Hands on coding skills
: Experience with debugging tools on IE and Firefox
: Experience in the various phases of the system development life cycle
including analysis and design, coding, and testing.
: Experience with Accurev a plus
: Knowledge of JSP and Tiles a plus
: Familiarity with the BEA suite (Web Logic Server in particular) Or IBM
Websphere server a plus
: Financial Services background a plus
: Undergraduate or advanced degree in a related discipline.
