Position: Hadoop Developer *Hadoop Developer:* Platform Architect for a large Hadoop database environment in Risk Technology running on *CDH 5.3+ & RHEL 6.4+ environment.* The platform is shared by multiple applications and multiple development teams. As a platform architect, explore new Hadoop tools & technologies; collaborate with development teams to create common libraries, establish/ratify Hadoop programming standards, best practices, coach/mentor developers, conduct peer reviews and share knowledge via user groups; create Hadoop architecture patterns and frameworks for data loading, transformation, data distribution and analytical functions using proper authorization and data security techniques. 2*+ yrs Cloudera, 6+ yrs in data oriented solutions, experienced in PIG, Sqoop, Hive, Oozie, Java, HDFS, Hiveserver, Unix Shell scripting. *Worked in complex team setting supporting a large platform.
