We have lot of positive feedback on this proposal, I'm not sure whether we
need to have a separate voting thread for this ? if not I will start work on
item number 2 and 3 on my original mail.

It is required to do some JIRA changes to support item-1 not sure Andreas
can do this or need to contact infra folks. Andreas can you confirm this ?
