JustJoinedJava commented on AXIS2-5985: --------------------------------------- Hi Robert, Thanks for the response. I am still confused around the fact that if I am using basic auth and axis2 web service as Rest endpoint, how could I send the required token in header. I mean would that work, I cant send the authorization token like we do it in soap header for ws security. I am reading this blogspot and could see that it still asks for soap header for axis2 web service as soap endpoint. [http://fazlansabar.blogspot.com/2012/04/ws-security-with-apache-rampart-part-33.html] Could you please advise on this, thanks for all your time and patience. > Axis2 web service using as rest endpoint, need to implement security > -------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: AXIS2-5985 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS2-5985 > Project: Axis2 > Issue Type: Task > Components: jaxws > Reporter: JustJoinedJava > Priority: Major > > I am using existing Axis2 web service (i.e. SOAP) as rest endpoints and I am > able to do it.
