It seems this issue with filename goes back to version 1.8.0
Using an earlier plugin as an example I renamed my files to
org.apache.axis2.eclipse.codegen.plugin_1.8.2.jar
and
org.apache.axis2.eclipse.service.plugin_1.8.2.jar
On my Mac I then displayed the contents of the Eclipse.app and copied the above
files into
Eclipse.app/Contents/Eclipse/dropins
I then restarted Eclipse - but I don't see any new options on the New Project
menu.
I am using Eclipse 2022-06 on a MacBook Pro M1 Max (apple silicon)
Any ideas ?
