contrib/*/lib is explicitly excluded from srource distributions in the
build.xml ...

...this really suprises me, since i thought the source releases are
suppose to inlcude everything you need to build with (there isn't even any
info on what jars the user needs to download to make the contribs work)
but it appears to be the "expected" behavior.
