Hey there, I'm curious if anybody is working on the issue https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-1085 and the blocker https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-1085 ? I would love to see both solr and lucene using the same api for search functions. The issues have been idle for a while so I would take over and try to make it happen in 3.0.
