Rate: $55/hr *Required Skills:* - The Production Support Engineer must have a comprehensive knowledge of multiple technical disciplines. - Experience and desire to independently research, analyze and correct payment transaction issues. - Document and recommend resolution to defects identified. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. - Daily hands-on investigation/research activities to resolve production application issues related to web development code and database functionality. - This also includes daily resolution of issues relating to batch processes and third party payment interactions Day-to-day. - Research, analyze and resolve problems related to Payments & Wireless applications, individual transactions and processes discrepancies. - Troubleshoot online application and transaction issues associated with Batch, Database, Wireless and/or User Interfaces. - Work closely with internal customer facing organizations such as On-line Customer Service, Phone Bank, Storevision, and Wealth Management to research online payment transaction issues. - Interface and coordinate research/resolution of issues with operations teams, Production Support Group, Technology Information Group and other servicing organizations. - Identify bugs and other enhancements associated with Payments & Wireless applications, providing documentation and tracking information. - Use ClearQuest, Pac2000 and other tracking tools. Ensure SOX compliance is met. - Partner with Business, Application, Infrastructure and QA groups to ensure proper alignment and delivery of business vision and strategy. - Assist in proactive research and evaluation of emerging and existing payments & wireless technologies, and technology trends. - Own issue resolution from beginning to end (Status: Open to Status: Closed).
