** *Please Mention the current location where you are located * ** *Job Title: SYBASE ASE TECHNICAL ANALYST Location: MECHANICSBURG, PA Duration: 6+Months* ** *Project Description: Resource is part of data migration team, which is responsible for extract, transform, and load of Legacy Case Management System data into AOPC Case Management System. There are two parallel projects: (1) migrating data from iSeries IBM UDB database to Sybase ASE for Magisterial District Judge System; and (2) migrating data to Sybase ASE for Common Pleas Case Management System. Migration team is responsible for modeling source system, mapping attributes from source to target, defining transformational rules, coding the data migration, executing the data migration, and resolving data issues as a result of migration and/or target application changes. The resource will act primarily as technical analyst (and secondarily as developer) in resolving and refining migration rules and validating and fixing migrated data. * ** *Responsibility: - Research and resolve migration data issues - Develop SQL scripts and queries - Analyze and profile source and target data * ** *Skill Set: - Moderate to High Data Analysis and Problem Solving Skills: understanding of data modeling, experience in metadata maintenance / use / loading, experience in data migration / integration, experience in application support - Moderate verbal and written communication skills: working with application analysts, updating Remedy tool with resolution, etc. - Moderate to High T-SQL: mostly in-line queries, update/delete statements.
