In addition, the position will provide application development skills and the ability to identify new technologies that will facilitate and enhance business functionality. - Develop databases, procedures, reports, migrations. - Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and DTS/SSIS packages to scrub, cleanse, modify data. - Define/ develop data migration strategies for data cleansing purposes. - Optimize and tune SQL statements and databases. - Review database designs for best practices - Troubleshoot and resolve database and application issues. - Review and recommend emerging database and web technologies. - Perform database management tasks inc. database infrastructure design, automation of data loads, performance tuning, SQL programming, data manipulation, massage and cleansing. - Define, test, and execute data validation routines. - Perform application program enhancements, troubleshooting and bug fixes as required. - Create and modify XML/XSLT based data Soft skills: - Creative mind - Dig in and get it done attitude - Collaborative shop.
