try visigenic. they don't have a linux distribution but the orb is written
in java. just get the solaris and hpux distribution and hack the install
script or install it on the hpux/solaris machine and ftp the classes to
your linux box. it works great for me.
visigenic is not free but you can evaluated for 30 days.
