I suggest so too. Operation of large scale lists needs
some techniques. At first, administrators can prepare
sendmail 8.9.2 instead of 8.8.5 (cf. shell.ncm.com
(8.8.5/8.7.5)). Some DNS lookups and SMTP connections
may be done concurrently. And shorter delivery time can
be archived with some tools such as smtpfeed
(http://www.kyoto.wide.ad.jp/smtpfeed/).
