I just read on http://www.linux.org.uk/diary/ that kernel 2.0.37 should
be released within a week. Does anyone know if this kernel still has the
socket multicast issue that's holding up the port? If it does, now might
be a good time to suggest it to the kernel folks...

If it doesn't, though, it might make a stronger case to Sun to say that
the JCK is passed on both kernel 2.2 (latest) and 2.0.37 (latest release
on old stable branch).

After all, Sun themselves provide OS patches that you need before you
can install Java on old versions of Solaris!

Just some thoughts... sorry if this is another of those annoying 1.2
posts ;)
