I am preparing a magazine article on Java for Linux. It will probably
appear May/June, and will cover JDK 1.2 for Linux. I have spoken
several
times with Anand Palaniswamy about the 1.2 port, and have the Feb 22
build running on my Linux laptop (RedHat 5.1).
I'd like to talk with you within the next 2 weeks about the port. The
article
will include brief info on the porting effort, new Java 2 features,
installation,
programming, and Java/Linux resources.
