Hi Naoki

I use Netbeans for Linux from http://www.netbeans.com

It's an absolutely WONDERFUL IDE. Check out the website. It supports JDK 1.1
and the new version X2 supports JDK 1.2. It's based entirely on Javabeans
components and Swing.

It runs on Solaris, Linux, NT as it is written in Java. I don't have the
pleasure of owning a Mac, so I don't know how it runs under the new MacOS java
1.1 runtime (anyone tried this?)

I find it slightly sluggish on Linux as I haven't found a JIT that works with
Netbeans (Ideas, help anyone?) At least that's why I assume it's a bit
sluggish.

What's more, it's free for non-commercial use. For commercial use it's very
reasonably priced too.

Later
Mike
