Well. Specify a non-existent JIT (which will make the JDK run in interpreted
mode) and see if it's slower... or throw an except and look at the stack traces
("compiled code" instead of line numbers indicates JIT).

It's not using 11*81 megs... I'm not sure how much it actually uses (as opposed
to allocated), but it sure swaps a helluva lot more than JDK 1.1.7!
