I'm surprised why not?
What do they need?
My brother is a lawyer student and is ready tu use linux for they work, I have
some troubles changing from redhat-5.2 -> redhat-6.0 i updated star office and
that's all, the point is that Linux is not more the monster, child of unix as
you remember from its beggining, have you ever tried kde, gnome or another good
environment?
Thinking as Microsoft people need a good desktop, an intuitive GUI, drag and
drop, etc.Linux has them.
IMO the problem is really concerning to developers, many of we come from a RAD
like VB, Delphi, etc and arrive to linux and what do you see, emacs + gcc, a
non-standard set of controls, widgets, interfaces for X,.... I never say this
is bad, the good thing here is we all are Linux and you can innovate, you can
create the only break is how long your iamgination can go?
But what's important Linux can do whatever Windows do. And don't pay attention
whatever joke people do.
