I'm having some problem getting my video device to register using the jmfregistry. I'm actually using the Blackdown port, if that makes a difference. My problem is this: When I start the program to detect the video devices it goes throught the list of possible resolutions, "Trying 1 ... Trying 2 ...". Somewhere around "Trying 8 768 576 ..." it stalls. It continues to grind away on the disk for about 10-15 minutes, getting up to "Trying 9 ..." and at some point comes to a complete stop, almost completely locking up the machine but not quite.
