Thanks to all you guys! :) I will try it (most probabily next week) and report back to the mailing list. The main reasons are: 1) I would like to deploy on multi-processor Linux systems without lacking in scalability; 2) If it works, not only Catalina will benefit from this, but the overall server performance.
