Hello,
I am kind of a
newbee here as well. :-( Sorry.
Anyways, I have my
iPAQ 3630 which runs familiar v0.5.3. I have been able to mount a windows
directory, which holds all j2re 1.3.1 blackdown files. Everything is unpacked as
requested.
All I want to do is
to get java running, so that I can try out the famous "hello world". I have
added the j2re/bin directory to the PATH, but I am not really sure what to do
with the additional ipaq stuff.
What do I need to do
with it?
In addition, I got
to work the following:
#
java
/mnt/win/rc1/j2re-1.3.1-RC1-linux-arm.tar/j2re-1.3.1-RC1-linux-arm/j2re1.3.1/bin
/armv4l/native_threads/java: error while loading shared libraries: libBrokenLoca
le.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/mnt/win/rc1/j2re-1.3.1-RC1-linux-arm.tar/j2re-1.3.1-RC1-linux-arm/j2re1.3.1/bin
/armv4l/native_threads/java: error while loading shared libraries: libBrokenLoca
le.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
"java" here is the
former .java_wrapper.
What shall I do with
this error message? I have been trying to locate such a file for my kernel
version (2.4.18-rmk3), but did not locate such a file.
Can anybody be of
help?
Thank
you,
alex
