Duration: 1 year *Location: Reston, VA(need East Coast candidates who can attend F2Fonly*) *Description* *The Senior Developer will be responsible for Analysis, Design, Coding and Unit Testing for a new Loan Delivery (LD) strategic initiative to process new Delivery request file format using XML MISMO standard as well as implementation of several new business functionality to enforce loan quality rules. Code construction tasks are the focus of responsibilities which also include code reviews and support for System and Acceptance testing. The candidate performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles. Responsibilities include: • Develop new components and enhancements for the Loan Delivery (LD) application. LD application is implemented in a J2EE platform using Sybase database. It includes several web applications and batch programs/processes. • Review business requirements, use cases and provide feedback to management and/or business analysts. • Design and document complex application functionality. • Implement complex functionality in various layers of J2EE applications including presentation, business logic and persistence layers. • Assist QA by reviewing test plans, test case scenarios as well as resolving test findings. Must-Have Skills: 5+ years experience in J2EE technologies including EJB, JSP (Weblogic preferred). 5+ years experience in XML technologies 3+ years of J2EE UI technologies including Struts, Tiles & JSTL, HTML and JavaScript. 5+ years experience with OO Design, OO Programming, Design Patterns, and Container Managed Persistence. 4+ years experience using RDBMS (Sybase preferred). Extensive experience in working with UNIX environment including developing shell scripts and Autosys Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to independently research, troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. Demonstrated experience in above in a production environment Ability to multi-task and provide expertise for multiple projects and teams, ability to work against aggressive deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and to adapt to changing business requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related fields. Nice-to-Have Skills : Experience with development of Financial/Mortgage applications. Experience with large system development. Experience using rules libraries.
