Duration: 1 year *Location: Reston, VA(Need East Coast candidates only who can attend the F2F)* * * *Description* *SSIS DEVELOPER Support the Capital Markets Technology Applications specifically application related pricing, hedging and securitization of Mortgages as well as applications related to income forecasting. • Participate with team of technical staff and business managers or practitioners in the business unit to determine systems requirements and functionalities needed in large/complex development project. • Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements. • Develop code; perform reviews to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development. Analyze application for data integrity issues. • Develop Unit test cases and perform Unit testing of assigned components • Serve as a lead technical staff by providing architectural direction around high performance MS SQL database based development • Ability to analyze and resolve performance issue with database code involving SSIS and MS SQL DB • Perform production support for application on as needed basis • Ability to understand and support install/upgrades of Third Party Software Must have skills 1- Expert in SSIS, MS SQL server and SQL programming 2- Expert at query tuning and optimizing database code and developing batch processing jobs. 3- Knowledge of Rational Clear Case, Clear quest, Autosys, Windows security Additional Skills 1- Knowledge of financial instruments such as Mortgage, bonds, MBS etc preferred 2- Working knowledge of J2EE programming, XML, TIBCO and ANT 3- Working Knowledge of Reporting tools such as Business Objects or Crystal Reports 8+ years of experience in programming, application development * * * *Skills:* *5-7+ years software development experience * 5+ yrs* *Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field * **Yes* *Post-graduate degree desired * yes* *Professional certification(s) desired * yes* *Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) * 5 of 5* *Business Objects * 3 of 5* *J2EE * 4 of 5* *XML * 4 of 5* *CA-Autosys * 4 of 5* *Crystal Reports * 3 of 5* *MS SQL Server * 5 of 5* *Rational ClearQuest/Rational ClearCase * 4 of 5* *8 years of related work experience * 8+ yrs* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Java Tech Group" group.
